Washington - The United States hit back Wednesday at allegations by the Nigerian ambassador of failing to help fight Boko Haram militants, saying there had been "a great deal" of US aid to his country. In the past six months since the Islamic militants snatched some 200 schoolgirls in northern Nigeria, Washington has shared intelligence with the Nigerian army, begun training a new battalion and held high-level talks on the threat of Boko Haram, a US official said. In a speech made public Tuesday, ambassador Adebowale Adefuye appeared to have taken US officials by surprise when he launched into a tirade against the US administration. Nigerian leaders were "not satisfied with the scope, nature and content of the United States' support for us in our struggle against terrorists," he said. Abuja - A 34-year-old man has been arrested after he was found chewing the victim he had just killed. , MirrorUK reported. Security officials of the hotel the man had been staying found him chewing the woman's eye ball and half of her face. Also read: Son chops parents and cooks them with rice He later died after being tasered by police as he was caught in the act. The man had just served a five year sentence because of attacking his partner and was released on bail. Police suspect the man was high on cocaine when he did the ordeal. Kano - Boko Haram has renamed two towns it captured in the northeast as part of campaign to establish a caliphate in the region, residents who have fled in recent days told AFP on Thursday. The insurgents seized the town of Mubi in Adamawa state last week and now insist it be called Madinatul Islam, or "City of Islam" in Arabic. Gwoza in neighbouring Borno state which was captured in July is now being called Darul Hikma or "House of Wisdom", multiple residents said.     Premium Times Reported that, Boko Haram men this morning kidnapped 2 first class traditional rulers in Borno State - the Emir of Uba, Ismaila Mamza and the Emir of Gwoza, Idrisa Timta.                   According to security officials who spoke with Premium Times, the emirs were seized by the gunmen around 10a.m today Friday May 30th near Shaffa while they were traveling to Gombe to attend the funeral of the Emir of Gombe, Shehu Abubakar, who died on Tuesday May 27th. Azatihan Sawuti, 113, and her husband Aimti Ahemti, 70 China - A 70-year-old Chinese man married his 113-year-old sweetheart after courting her for six months. Aimti Ahemti does not seem to care about the 43-year age gap between himself and his wife Azatihan Sawuti. The two met in December 2013 at the nursing home in Bachu County, China's western Xinjiang Autonomous Region. Aimti says she takes good care of him and even shares her meals with him. When he proposed to her for the first time, she refused, obviously embarrassed by her own old age. But, Aimti says, he started to chase her "like a young man" and eventually persuaded her to accept the proposal in April. Convicted Boko Haram member, Kabiru Umar (aka Kabiru Sokoto), has appealed to President Goodluck Jonathan for pardon.He is promising to assist the FG to fight end the Boko Haram men Umar was sentenced to life imprisonment on December 20,2013 after he was found guilty of the December 25, 2011 bombing of St Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madala, Niger State. In a letter to the president, written on his behalf by his lawyer, Sheriff Okoh, Umar said he was innocent.     The other day, fans criticized the likes of Mercy Johnson and Funke Akindele on social media for acting as students in roles, many opined that there should be room for the young generation to showcase their talents.
