Nigeria President arrived London on private visit

President Bola Tinubu has left Paris for London on a private visit.    A statement released by Dele Alake,  Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy says on Friday, President Tinubu concluded his official trip to Paris, France, during which he had an outstanding participation in a summit for 'A New Global Financing Pact' hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.   ‘’Aside participating in the summit where he represented Nigeria well, President Tinubu also held high-profile sideline meetings with fellow heads of state and government, global business leaders and chief executives of leading multilateral and development finance institutions from around the world. The summit afforded the President the opportunity of projecting, on a global stage, his advocacy for widening the fiscal space, economic justice for Africa as the world accelerates the pace of energy transition, and the urgency of addressing the pressing issues of poverty and climat

Titanic submersible mothership that plunged five men into doomed dive returns to shore (photos)

The ship had taken part in a massive search effort for the Titan about 435 miles south of St John's, which came to an end on Thursday with the confirmation the sub had imploded deep underwater, likely after it launched on Sunday. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has announced it would be conducting a safety investigation into the fatal implosion of the deep sea vessel for the Titan's fatal dive. The Polar Prince is a decommissioned Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker now owned by Miawpukek Horizon Maritime Service Ltd, and chartered by extreme tourism company OceanGate as a support vessel for the Titan's fatal dive.. OceanGate founder and CEO Stockton Rush was killed aboard the company's submersible, along with passengers Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, British adventurer Hamish Harding, and Titanic expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet.   Trinity guy arrived the command's office yesterday 23 June 23, to answer questions over the viral skit video where a female minor was sexualized in a reprehensible dialogue devoid of ethical and moral values. In the video, the skit maker asked the minor to describe a male private part which he suggested she had mistakenly seen.    Reacting to this development via his Twitter handle, Adejobi who called for the skit maker's arrest stated that he will be charged to court on Monday. The police have said that sexualizing a minor is obscene video was a clear violation of Sec. 32,35 and 36 of the Child Rights Act of 2023.   Read Adejobi's tweets below

  Another Nigerian chef is set to surpass Hilda Baci with 150 Cook-a-thon challenge. Chef Adeyeye Adeola has signified interest in surpassing Hilda as the new record holder for the longest cooking hours for an individual.  This comes barely a week after the Guiness World Record certified Akwa-Ibom born chef Hilda as the new record holder.
