Lagos-based Igbos urged to vote APC

Abuja - Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has urged all Igbos residing in Lagos State to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the general election.

He appealed to them to elect presidential candidate,  Muhammadu Buhari, and their Lagos State gubernatorial candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode.

Okorocha asked the Igbo to vote APC for the required change that would transform Nigeria and give the people better life.

He argued that the APC was the party that Nigerians were looking up for the deliverance that the country needed.

The governor stressed that Lagos remained a blessing to the Igbo nation and that the APC remained the only party of choice for all residents of the state.

He added that the governorship candidate of the APC in Lagos State would not deceive or discriminate against any tribe but would continue with the good works of outgoing Governor Raji Fashola.

Okorocha described Fashola as a man who is highly revered globally as one of the best Governors the country has produced and expressed conviction that the APC governorship candidate in the state would continue the task of developing Lagos in geometric progression after Fashola.
